About me

After I graduated from a M.A.Sc. in Information Systems Security, I am now a Ph.D. student at Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) in Information and Systems Engineering —with a focus on security, working under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Mannan. I am probably known for my work on TrueCrypt for which I compared the sources against the official binaries, and for my evaluation of popular password strength meters. More recently, I looked at how badly antivirus and parental control applications break TLS connections to filter content.
