Privacy Analysis of Canadian Public WiFi Hotspots

Open access WiFi hotspots are widely available in public places, including: restaurants, parks, coffee shops, shopping malls, trains, airports, hotels, and libraries. We analyze tracking behaviors and privacy leakage in WiFi captive portals and landing pages for 67 unique hotspots in Montreal.
